Do you have photos you want put on canvas? Photographer, Arlene Creevy, not only prints her own photography on Canvas but also your photos. If you have a photo you would like done on canvas she is the person to see. She has been doing it since the specially coated ink jet canvas first came out in 2009 about two years before the big companies started doing it. Her prices are competitive with those companies. Restorations, printing of old photos, and photos taken by customers are her specialties. She doesn’t just push an auto button to bring out the best colors and tones for your photos. Every piece is given a personal touch, coated twice with a special UV coating for preservation and then wrapped by her husband. You can meet & talk to her at the Downtown Farmers Curb Market. She is there every Saturday. Ar is always ready to give camera tips advice & help to aspiring photographers. You can email her at her address below and see all her photos on her website.
How long have you been in business? 8 years at the Downtown Farmers Curb Market. I have sold my photography for about 15 years. For many years, I did photography of my extended family’s sports activities, events, vacations, etc.
How did you get started? My love of photography started when I received my “Brownie” Kodak Camera when I was 8-years-old. I took pictures of my extended family for years and raised sons active in sports, so I never opened a storefront business.
What kinds of products/services do you offer? I can put your pictures on mouse pads and on canvas. I can digitally restore old photos on canvas. I also sell my photos on canvas.
Personally, what’s your favorite product or service? I love doing restorations of old photos.
What’s one thing your customers might not know about you? I have been to over 50 national and state parks, forests, preserves, and reserves in order to photograph them. I worked for Disney World from 2005 to 2008 and was one of the first 60 hired for their photo pass program. I also was one of 200 cast members selected for the Dream Squad in 2007 to give out prizes and trips to guests.
What’s the best part about being at the Market? It’s fun meeting, greeting, and talking to people.
What are your goals and dreams for your business? I plan to continue to develop my ability to digitally restore old photos for my customers to preserve their memories on canvas. I still have a bucket list of places that I would like to photo shoot. Hawaii was one I did last May. I would like to be able to show my works other places as well. I have over 3600 photos on my travel website.
