Ackermann Maple Farm
Ian and Caitlin both grew up in Cabot, Vermont, and in early 2013 purchased the 36 acres that would become Ackermann Maple Farm and started their business. There, the sap that flows from just over 3,000 taps is heated using a wood fire, evaporating the water and drawing out the pronounced natural maple flavor Vermont is known for. The tapping, sap collection, boiling, filtering and bottling is all done by Ian and Caitlin in the early spring.
We will be at the Market every Saturday in December, January and 1/2 of February.
