Vendor FAQs:

How do you prefer for customers to contact you? I am probably most accessible via Facebook or email.

How long have you been in business? Since September 2016.

How did you get started? I work for the Downtown Farmers Curb Market, so I knew that I wanted to create a Market-based business of my own. I started with cut flowers and quickly transitioned to potted herbs. I love being able to watch the plants grow, and I love being able to send customers home with a new family member in a sense. Our motto is “Give the gift that keeps on growing.”

What kind of products/services do you offer? A wide variety of culinary herbs in both small and large pots; Varieties of Tillandsia and Bromeliads; Lucky Bamboo; Tomatoes; Peppers; and More! We are frequently adding to our product line.

Personally, what’s your favorite product/service? I love the smell of sweet marjoram, the taste of cilantro, and the creativity and delicate beauty of Tillandsia (you can do so much with them!).

What’s one thing that your customers might not know about your business? If you’re thinking about installing an herb garden, I will deliver orders of $50 or more directly to your house if you live within 15 miles of South Lakeland.

What’s the best part about being at the market? I like being able to send my customers home with something that is going to make them healthier and, hopefully, make their lives better.

What is one thing that you plan to do in the future–in other words, what are your goals/dreams for your business? In the immediate future, I want to start selling more succulents and fruit and vegetable starters. I would also like to start growing more of my own plants and open a nursery.
